How can I keep my cat from jumping out the bird cage?

I have a problem with my cat jumps out of cage birds and scaring birds to death! No matter where I put the cage, the cat is away to lift it. I'm afraid the cat outside, sprayed water on it, put it in a carrier animals, SWAT, even the cat, nothing seems to work! I ran out of things to try! "PLEASE HELP ME FIND AWAY!"

I've had cats and bird combo many times in my life and I know how frustrating it can be. I had my bird up, I kid not to 8 feet at the top of my Cabinet and my cat China became a full volts and clung to him calling them both down! My bird ended with a tumor and I wonder if he had anything to do with it. I have a cage birds singing is the cat test and can not be pulled open by a company of their not sure if they are still in business, but it a wooden cage and on a wooden support his large cage, Search eBay or garage sales for something like that, my cats actually slept on the top and ended up with my birds Buddy .. I had the same cage over 17 years .. surprising still is in shape, it's worth the money! GOOD LUCK
